Join Ifeoma Ebo, urban designer and strategist; Jennifer L. Gray, Curator of Drawings and Archives, Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library, Columbia University; and Arièle Dionne-Krosnick for a conversation about the pitfalls, successes, and civic impact of modernist social housing projects. The program will begin with a screening of the documentary The Pruitt-Igoe Myth (2011), which details the rise and fall of a housing estate in St. Louis, Missouri, and is currently on view in gallery 216 as part of Building Citizens.
